The attacker knows new PSG coach Thomas Tuchel very well from their time together at Mainz and he is set to join the French champions before the deadline.

Choupo-Moting signed a two-year contract with the French champions after agreeing to terminate his deal with his previous club.

According to "Le Parisien", the Ligue 1 giants are set to sign the Cameroon international as he looks to leave Stoke following their relegation from the Premier League.


It seems Choupo-Moting, who scored five goals in 30 appearances last season, will provide back-up after PSG allowed Gonçalo Guedes to leave and join Valencia on Thursday.

Tuchel already has Neymar, Kylian Mbappé, Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria to choose from in the forward positions.
