Cameroon Indomitable Lions gets new Headcoach

 


Cameroon football team gets a new head coach after a long while since the departure of HUGO  Broos. This announcement was made public by minister of sports, Pierre Ismael Bidoung Mkpatt today.

Clarence Seedorf is a 42 years old Dutch midfielder.
He has been a care taker coach and footballer with  Milian AC and coach to Deportivo de La Coruña.

 The former AC Milan midfielder will be assisted by former Paris Saint Germain sporting director Patrick Kluivert.

Kluivert who turned out for Ajax, Milan, Barcelona among others during his playing career has previously been assistant managers at NEC Nijmegen, AZ Alkmaar and Netherlands.

The Minister also reassured that Cameroon will keep on her bet on hosting AFCON 2019

These two have less than a year to work before Cameroon host the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for June next year.

Did Hugo Broos truly resign after after receiving 4 against 0 from super eagles?

The game of Friday 1st of September 2017 left the Cameroonian team so sour after conceiving Four goals to zero from the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Prior to such humiliating win, rumour went out that coach Hugo Broos, the coach of the Indomitable Lions had sent in his resignation letter after the match.  This is not true. Hugo Broos over the CRTV acknowledged the defeat and refuted all rumours of him sending in a resignation letter. He said the team is working out on their lapses in order to give better results in the return leg come today Monday fourth here in the Ahmadou Ahidjoh Stadium. Choupo Moting is also working on recovery schemes from the injury he encountered during the game. As we look up to the forth coming game,  we hope the lions will defend their stand as the African champions they are and prevent a double humiliation from the super eagles.
