Cameroonian striker and forward,  Karl Toko Ekambi has been signed up by the Spanish team, Villareal for a 5 year contract.

The 25 year old striker was officially announced as now on the Villareal side on Thursday June 7th 2018.

Toko Ekambi began his career with Paris FC before signing for Ligue 2's Sochaux in 2014. After 25 goals across two seasons in the second tier, he moved to Angers in 2016.


Toko Ekambi became the first Cameroonian player to win the Marc Vivien Foé prize for the best African player in the French Ligue 1 after his sensational season.

The official presentation of Karl Toko Ekambi as A Forward for Villareal will take place at the Colegio Público José Soriano at 12:30pm CEST on Friday.

Hugo Broos over the CRTV acknowledged the defeat and refuted all rumours of him sending in a resignation letter. He said the team is working out on their lapses in order to give better results in the return leg come today Monday fourth here in the Ahmadou Ahidjoh Stadium. Choupo Moting is also working on recovery schemes from the injury he encountered during the game. As we look up to the forth coming game,  we hope the lions will defend their stand as the African champions they are and prevent a double humiliation from the super eagles.
