This deal comes up after U.K trade minister, Baroness Fairhead met with Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh.
To Dr. Liam Fox, this deal amongst others is to help Britain secure resources as she looks forward to making BREXIT a reality..
As good as the deal may seem to the Cameroon's economy, it carries behind it a million controversial thoughts.
Britain is fully aware of what Cameroon is going through as concerns her sociopolitical state, yet her first gesture in such a time is to get deals for natural resources.
It is obvious. Some western powers instigate and promote crises in African and Asian countries so as to pave way into their resources when they get desperately in need of finances to resolve the problems these crises pose. At this moment, these poor countries are left with no option than accept meager deals that will hurt their economies in the long run. This holds same to the said world's financial institutions.
In brief, the "Divide and rule" policy is what is used by this western countries.
When they will be done with resource exploitation, they will come back through international organizations and scratch the backs of African leader's, giving the impression that they mean no harm.
Prof. LUMUMBA said " The earlier Africa realizes she is on her own, the better for her".
