The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon become DOMITABLE!

 The "African champions", the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon  after a firm tussle of muscles in the return leg of the match with Nigeria ended up with a 1-1 draw. A goal gotten through a penalty that was finished by Abubakar Vensan. Despite all the efforts put in by the Lions, they were still outplayed by their Nigerian counterparts. The Lions doubled their efforts in the second half of the game and pressed really hard on the Super Eagles of Nigeria. With all the struggle, they could not get more than a draw. This draw hosts the Lions out of the qualifiers' list for the forth coming world cup in Russia. The game ended with real famished players who carried on real depressed faces after seeing their opportunity to part take in the world cup being crumbed down by the the Super Eagles.

 In all, the Nigerian team goes home contented with the outcome of the game, having a great stand for the forth coming world cup. As they celebrate, the Lions mourn their chances. THE LIONS ARE OUT OF THE COMPETITION AT THE QUALIFIERS!

Sub-Saharan Africa is now the world's hotspot of violent Islamic extremism

 NAIROBI, Kenya According to a recent assessment by the U.N.'s office for international development, s ub-Saharan Africa is now the world's hotspot of violent Islamic extremism , and people are joining more frequently for economic reasons than theological ones. When compared to the figures in a previous research published in 2017, the UNDP report released on Tuesday stated that 92% of recruits to extremist groups are joining for better jobs and escalating poverty. It claimed that the COVID-19 epidemic, rising inflation, and climate change had all had a negative impact on the livelihoods of several Africans.     According to the report, the number of persons joining extremist groups for religious reasons has dropped by 57%.   In eight African nations—Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Somalia, and Sudan—nearly 2,200 persons were questioned for the report.   According to officials and agencies, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake that slammed Turkey and Syria early on Monday left more than 4,300 people dead and thousands injured.
