After several years of hardwork and striving in the rain and in the scorching sun looking for ways to meet ends needs, she finally reached that day where she saw her daughter graduate.
"I might not have gone to school, I might not know a lot about the ways of learneth people but I know one thing; my daughter must be everything I wasn't".
Those are words from a mother whom with virtually nothing but a hoe and a piece of land far off into the forest, saw her beloved daughter through school until graduation. "Ocassionally we had to go to bed hungry or eat without oil, Maggi or salt because I had to save up for her fees". I cry today because it gives me great joy to see that my daughter has achieved her dreams and I am left with one more prayer... let God open doors for her in our nation so that she will be able to get a job and take care of me and her siblings".
