Eto'o to invite Ronaldinho, Messi, Thierry Henry, Rihanna amongst others to Cameroon.

Samuel Eto'o held meetings with the prime minister and head of government Philemon Yang and later with the minister of sports, Bidoun Kpatt on the 15th of November 2018. 

Their main talks centered on a gala match to be hosted by the S.  Eto'o foundation few days to the opening game of the African Cup of Nations.
According to the soccer billionaire,  football stars in the likes of Messi, Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry amongst other African football champions will be present and musical interludes will be given by invited artists, Rihanna being one in the list.
He added that this was in order to ignite the spirit of the AFCON games in Cameroon.

Nonetheless , the people have been pondering on how these stars  will come amidst the socio political malice. To them, the stars might not turn up because they fear their lives.
Another faction evoked the doubts or credibility of Cameroon's ability to host the AFCON.

Did Hugo Broos truly resign after after receiving 4 against 0 from super eagles?

The game of Friday 1st of September 2017 left the Cameroonian team so sour after conceiving Four goals to zero from the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Prior to such humiliating win, rumour went out that coach Hugo Broos, the coach of the Indomitable Lions had sent in his resignation letter after the match.  This is not true. Hugo Broos over the CRTV acknowledged the defeat and refuted all rumours of him sending in a resignation letter. He said the team is working out on their lapses in order to give better results in the return leg come today Monday fourth here in the Ahmadou Ahidjoh Stadium. Choupo Moting is also working on recovery schemes from the injury he encountered during the game.
