WHY MARCUS RASHFORD WAS ABSENT FOR THE FULHAM GAME

WHY MARCUS RASHFORD WAS ABSENT FOR THE FULHAM GAME

Manchester United's decision to exclude Marcus Rashford from their Premier League match against Fulham has been clarified. The absence of our number 10 was due to injury as the team bounced back from consecutive home defeats to Manchester City and Newcastle United with a 1-0 victory over Fulham, courtesy of Bruno Fernandes' late goal. Although Rashford traveled with the rest of the squad, the Manchester-born forward was unable to participate in the match in west London due to a leg injury. During training, he suffered a significant knock to his leg, preventing him from completing the final session before the game. In the morning, Rashford underwent a fitness test where it was determined that he was not fit to play. Erik ten Hag confirmed this during his pre-match interview with TNT Sports, stating that Rashford had traveled with the team but his leg injury did not improve sufficiently. When questioned about whether Rashford would have been in the starting lineup considering r...

Fulham vs Man United: Bruno Fernandes brings the cure

Erik ten Hag may have been hoping for a stroke of luck to go his way, and finally, his moment arrived just in time for the embattled Manchester United manager. In the 90th minute, Bruno Fernandes struck a shot that secured the win for United after Fulham missed several opportunities to clear the ball. Fernandes, who had been relatively quiet throughout the game, seized the moment when it mattered most. With a clever touch to deceive his Portuguese compatriots Joao Palhinha and substitute Sasa Lukic, he found the back of the net. This victory for United was salvaged from what was one of the worst games in recent memory. If Ten Hag was searching for any signs of a brighter future at Old Trafford, he may have needed to squint, but a winning goal in the final moments at least indicates that progress is being made. Prior to Fernandes' goal, Fulham had shown as much determination in a game that lacked intensity. Ten Hag made the changes he could, introducing substitutes Facundo Pellistr...

The Head of State H.E Paul Biya's speech on the occasion of the national youth day 2019

H.E President Paul Biya My dear young compatriots, Last year, on the same occasion, I drew your    attention to the changes that were taking place in the world, which pointed to declining solidarity between nations and a recrudescence of national egoism. Unfortunately, recent trends in relations between States confirm this assertion. My intention was to make it quite clear to you that we had to prepare for such eventuality by first counting on ourselves and then being less dependent on the outside world. That is why I made the emergence of our country a “national cause”. It is obvious that you already are and will, in the coming years, be the key actors of such emergence. In that regard, it is not futile to recall that for most nations, and ours in particular, each generation, at one moment or another, had to mobilize to uphold a cause that is considered just and necessary. For our founding fathers, the cause was independence which is inextricably linked to...
