Bakary Gassama to officiate CAF Confederations Cup Semi-Finals

 Gambian born Bakary Gassama has been given the honor to officiate CAF Confederations cup semi finals slated for 15th May 2022. 

The game shall be played between South African club Orlando Pirates and Libyan club Al Ahli Tripoli. 

This responsibility bestowed on ref. Gassama is evidence that he did a great job at the world cup qualifiers game between the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and the Algerian national team, a game that kept the name of the professional on almost every lip.

It should be noted that Bakary Gassama was verbally attacked by some supposed men of repute in the sports discipline, including Coaches, colleagues and players. 

However, a great majority of the football world sent congratulations messages to the "whistle wizard", applauding his mastery in the game that seemed to be the most decisive of his career. 

While Algerians await a feedback from the major football governing body, FIFA, CAF serves Gassama with a golden spot to do what he does best.
