Cameroonian football star, holder of the historic No. 10 jersey in the Cameroonian team and sport analyst/consultant Patrick Mboma made his opinion known as far as the 07th October 2018 elections are concerned.

Unlike the other stars who made public their chouse of candidates for the 2018 elections, Patrick Mboma called on Cameroonians to vote with wisdom and not to be carried away by moments or words. He sited a quote once used by Thomas Sankara which read thus;
"you will need to choose between champagne for a few or portable water for all, a word to a wise is sufficient"

This manner of reaction from him earned him more respect.
Patrick Mboma has always been known for his calm spirit. After the end of his football career, he did not come back to patch into the Cameroonian government ranks because he definitely knew the influence of such.
