North Korean president, Kim Jong Un threatens
to run a missile test off the coast of U.S island, Guam.
Guam was used as a military base by the U.S
during the pre-war period but today, it has a population of about 126000
inhabitants on a surface area of about 210miles. Guam’s economy relies solely
on tourism. The territory is situated about 2100miles south of North Korea.
The president of the United States of America,
Donald J. Trump did not just take president Kim’s threats lying down. He
threatened fire and fury in case North Korea keeps on her words. With all
allies being ready to support in case of adversity, this could possibly
generate into a missile war of all times.
Nonetheless, a peaceful dialogue between these
two nations could be an ultimate solution to the current puzzle.
