Today the 30th of August marks the release of a handful of people who were arrested following the anglophone crises. According to an interview session conducted by the CRTV, it proves those who got involved in destruction of state emblems and symbols could still be withheld. The  streets of the two anglophone regions of Cameroon was so filled with euphoria as the celebrated the release of their brothers.  Nonetheless, the presidential gesture came just in time to foster school resumption 5days from now. Following the crisis which has plagued the Anglophone regions for close to 12 months now, the stakes on school resumption remains a high bid for government and anglophone activists. This spans from envoys sent to the USA, Belgium and South Africa to dialogue  with traditional authorities in the North West and South West Regions. The outcome this far has been 'fruitless' as activists made their point clear ''The Struggle continues!'' North Korean president, Kim Jong Un threatens to run a missile test off the coast of U.S island, Guam. Guam was used as a military base by the U.S during the pre-war period but today, it has a population of about 126000 inhabitants on a surface area of about 210miles. Guam’s economy relies solely on tourism. The territory is situated about 2100miles south of North Korea. The president of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump did not just take president Kim’s threats lying down. He threatened fire and fury in case North Korea keeps on her words. With all allies being ready to support in case of adversity, this could possibly generate into a missile war of all times. The Paris Climate agreement was reached between 194 countries, the U.S.A inclusive. On June 1, President Donald Trump announced that the United States would withdraw from the Paris Agreement on climate change. This decision threatens our security, our public health and welfare, our economic prosperity, and our clean energy industry, which supports millions of U.S. jobs. The Assumption of Mary into Heaven, often shortened to the Assumption and also known as the Feast of Saint Mary the Virgin, mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Falling Asleep of the Blessed Virgin Mary (the Dormition), according to the beliefs of the Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodoxy, Oriental Orthodoxy, and parts of Anglicanism, was the bodily taking up of the Virgin Mary into Heaven at the end of her earthly life. The Catholic Church teaches as dogma that the Virgin Mary "having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory". This doctrine was dogmatically defined by Pope Pius XII on 1 November 1950, in the apostolic constitution Munificentissimus Deus by exercising papal infallibility. While the Catholic Church and Eastern Orthodox Church believe in the Dormition of the Theotokos, which is the same as the Assumption, whether Mary had a physical death has not been dogmatically defined. It is alleged that the General Certificate of Examinations this academic year was well blended by political decisions rather than meritocracy.  Opinions hold that the registrar of the GCE board only released results out of pressure mounted by political authorities. The percentage limits for a ''C’’ to be considered a pass was brought right down to 18% for the ordinary level, and an ''E’’ grade at the advanced level could be scored with just a 15% pass.
